Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026
Restro Infinity ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our") is owned and operated by UNOVA Technologies. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Restro Infinity restaurant and retail point-of-sale platform, how it is used, how it is shared, and the choices available to you. By creating an account, logging in, or otherwise using Restro Infinity, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Who This Policy Covers
Restro Infinity is provided to businesses ("Merchants" or "Stores") on a subscription basis. Two categories of individuals interact with the Platform:
- Users — the Merchant's owners, managers, and staff who are issued login credentials to operate Restro Infinity (e.g. taking orders, managing inventory, processing payments, clocking in/out).
- Customers — the Merchant's own walk-in, delivery, or reservation guests, whose details (e.g. name and phone number) may be entered into Restro Infinity by a Merchant's staff for receipts, delivery, loyalty, or billing purposes.
For Customer information, the Merchant (not UNOVA Technologies) decides what is collected and why, and acts as the data controller for its own guests. UNOVA Technologies processes that information on the Merchant's behalf, as its service provider, strictly to operate the Platform.
2. Information We Collect
Staff / User account information: name, email address, mobile number, address, employee photo and signature image, username, password and MPIN (stored in encrypted/hashed form, never in plain text), assigned role, and preferred language.
Attendance information: clock in/out times and the device used, for staff attendance and payroll reporting.
Session and device information: IP address, device identifier and name, browser and operating system, and login/logout timestamps, used to secure accounts and show you your active sessions.
Business/Store information: business name, address, phone number, email, tax registration details (e.g. PAN/VAT number), and subscription/billing history.
Customer information (entered by a Merchant's staff): name, phone number, email, delivery/billing address, tax identification number (where provided for invoicing), order and payment history, loyalty/reward points, table reservations, and marketing communication preferences.
Transaction records: orders, order items, payment method and amount, discounts, refunds, and outstanding customer balances.
Support records: complaints or support requests submitted through the Platform, and related correspondence.
Technical/error logs: automatically generated logs (such as IP address and username) used to diagnose and fix issues.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Restro Infinity platform (orders, billing, kitchen ticketing, inventory, reporting, attendance, and reservations).
- To authenticate Users and keep accounts and sessions secure.
- To generate receipts and invoices, calculate applicable taxes, and produce reports for the Merchant.
- To support required tax compliance, including synchronising applicable sales data with Nepal's Inland Revenue Department (IRD) where a Merchant enables this feature.
- To provide customer support and respond to complaints or requests.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- To communicate with Users about their account, service updates, or support requests.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Customer information collected on behalf of Merchants for our own advertising purposes.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Within a Merchant's own account — information a Merchant's staff enter is visible to that Merchant's authorised Users, as controlled by the Merchant.
- Service providers — we use infrastructure and communication providers (such as our database hosting and email delivery provider) strictly to operate the Platform; they are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
- Payment and hardware integrations — where a Merchant enables a supported payment terminal or card-processing integration, transaction details necessary to process that payment are shared with that provider.
- Legal and regulatory authorities — where required by applicable law, such as tax reporting to the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) of Nepal, or in response to a valid legal request.
- Business transfers — if UNOVA Technologies is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
5. Data Storage & Retention
Information is stored on our database infrastructure and retained for as long as the associated Merchant account remains active, and afterwards for as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, audit, and legal record-keeping purposes, or to resolve disputes.
Deleting an account through the Platform (see below) deactivates it; it does not immediately or automatically erase the underlying records. Order, payment, and tax-related records in particular are retained because Merchants may have a legal obligation to keep them.
6. Account Deactivation & Deletion
A User may request deletion of their own account at any time from Profile > Delete Account, after confirming their password. Doing so deactivates the account: it is immediately logged out, marked inactive, and hidden from active use, and it can no longer be used to log in. Underlying records tied to the account (such as past orders, attendance, and transaction history) are retained as described in Section 5, rather than permanently erased, because Merchants may be required to keep them for accounting or tax purposes.
If you would like to request permanent erasure of your personal information beyond what applicable law requires us or the Merchant to retain, contact us using the details in Section 10 and we will respond to your request.
7. Data Security
Passwords and MPINs are stored in encrypted form rather than as plain text. We use access-controlled accounts, session tracking, and audit logging to help protect information against unauthorised access. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights & Choices
You may access and update certain account information directly from your Profile page, including your preferred language and password/MPIN. Customers whose information was entered by a Merchant should contact that Merchant directly to access, correct, or request deletion of their information; Merchants may also contact us for assistance with such requests.
9. Children's Privacy
Restro Infinity is a business tool intended for use by Merchant staff who are adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Platform.
10. Contact Us

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Restro Infinity after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
